Digital Technology Expo and Luncheon

On Thursday, April 28th the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce will produce the “Digital Technology Expo and Luncheon” which will consist of five parts: a multi zone technology expo directed at business application, a lively demonstration stage, an education preview, a dynamic digital technology luncheon and, finally a “Nonprofit & Technology Happy Hour!” This event will be unparalleled in our region and combines the strength of the City’s Innovation Partnership Zone (IPZ) in Digital Technology, WSU-Vancouver’s Creative Media & Digital Culture Program, the Columbia River Economic Development Council and a number of other community partners.  This will be the premier venue for experiencing new technologies, fueling the creative fire of students and increasing the community’s general knowledge and application of digital technologies.

Technology vendors, speakers and sponsors will get a unique opportunity to engage community youth (9th grade plus). It’s time to show off Tech businesses with the goal of fueling and sparking creative minds. We encourage the creation of connections for future internships and further engagement to help grow innovation in our own backyard.

The GVCC’s 2016 Technology Expo and Luncheon Event Overview:

Four zones will showcase technology based companies within the “Technology Expo!” The four zones are essential for business, so they can easily navigate tech companies based of their needs for solutions. The zones are: #1 Online Presence, #2 Mobile, #3 Business Software Solutions and #4 IT Support! We will also have a general area for all vendors unclassified.

A variety of companies, students and clubs will demonstrate technologies and innovations on the “Demonstration Stage” during the Expo and Educational Preview.
